Project:
Plan, design and launch a new website, AffordableColleges.com. Develop content around affordability in college and grow organic traffic to the site.
Approach:
I worked with design and development teams to build out an aesthetic, user-friendly sites. After researching several competition sites, we identified several areas for improvement, including UX and usability.
After building out the basic design on the site, we focused our efforts on content ideation and creation using keyword research. While managing a content team and network of freelance writers, we published 20 resources, 14 degree pages and 160 college ranking pages.
While content was being published, we shifted our efforts to build back links into our new content. We build over 1,000 backlinks to AffordableColleges.com and currently rank in the top 100 for over 7,000 keywords.
